Bill and I have returned from an autumn trip with friends up through North Texas, Arkansas and Missouri. You do that when you live in South Texas and desperately need to see a change of seasons. And while we were traveling, not only were we reminiscing and telling new tales, we celebrated two birthdays.
Who gets to the hear THE LETTERMEN sing Happy Birthday to him? Bill! On the second row, and I can tell you he soaked up every note!
And then, I received a birthday wish from Gilead Publishing announcing the release of CHRISTMAS AT GREY SAGE. Another birthday! And publishing is more like giving birth than you think–only the gestation period can be much longer.
But when I arrived home, there was the box – the box I’ve been waiting for!
